As an educator, I've always been interested in helping children
learn.  But, over the years I began to realize that there is an
important nutritional support connection that can impact a child's
ability to learn successfully.

Nutritional support became a personal interest for me in April of
1996, over twelve years ago.  Learning the basics of how health
works was a learning process.  I started taking whole food
supplements and digestive aids.  And then I started giving them
to my whole family.  Of the four of us, my fifth grade daughter
and I were most consistent.  My daughter was an excellent
student, but she was constantly getting into trouble in school for
blurting out answers and talking in class.  She also did not have
many friends, and that worried me.  When my daughter got home
from school, she was regularly whiny and cranky.  I imagined she
was both hungry and tired, and I just had to deal with her
consequential behaviors.  What I didn’t realize was that she
didn’t have to be that way.

During the first week of taking whole food supplements, her
behavior seemed to worsen.  She had many emotional outbursts
and was generally someone you didn’t want to be around.
Because of the faith I had in the supplements however, I
continued giving them to her, and within three weeks I saw a
major shift from her negative behaviors.  No more whining – no
more “fits”.  She was getting to be someone I wanted to be
around. I imagined that she was feeling the same kind of benefits
I had been experiencing – more energy, improved mental clarity,
and a general sense of well-being.

The following school year, my daughter’s sixth grade teacher
could not  believe the stories I told about my daughter’s fifth
grade problems.  She was a new little girl.  She went on to
graduate from high school a year early and then from college cum
laude in three and a half years having just turned 20.  She was
the president of the anthropology club and served on the student
Senate.  She also became an avid rock climber, was on the diving
team, excelled in art work and ceramics, and played trumpet in
her high school and college bands to name a few
accomplishments.

With the obvious changes that my daughter and I had
experienced, I felt compelled to spread the word.  In the year
2000, I was instrumental in putting on a local conference on the
subject of nutrition and learning featuring two nationwide
presenters.  Today I continue my studies into how health works
and feel passionate about sharing my knowledge with  others.
