TYLER: Writing & spelling is no longer a struggle for Tyler.
For a long time I'd been having muscle aches and fatigue that
were gradually getting worse. A specialist I consulted wanted to
give me some medications, but I didn't want to take drugs-my
husband's a pharmacist and he won't take medicine for practically
any reason. When I asked the doctor about nutrition he said,
"Well, gee, I'm really not trained in nutrition."
I'm a homemaker, do day care and raise cashmere goats on our
little farm. After I had met with the specialist I called Chloe
Andersen, whose daughter is in my 4-H group. I said, "Chloe, I'm
really sick and I don't think I'm going to be able to handle 4-H
anymore." She said, "Nannette, I have to come over and talk to
you about something. Don't worry." That's how I learned about
blue-green algae. I was skeptical because there are just so many
health things out there, but Chloe's so sweet I thought I would
humor her (I intended to send the algae back in 90 days because
it has a guarantee).
As I started to get up to five acidophilus in the program, I started
to feel a lot better and could notice some improvement in my
energy level. And as I started to read and learn more about the
algae, I saw that it was good for helping children improve
attention and learning. I thought, I've got to try this with my son!
Tyler is nine, and he's had problems in school from the beginning.
Tyler is very curious and very smart-when he was three he knew
all the scientific names for the bones of the human skeleton but
he could never sit still very well. In kindergarten they called him
"the little butterfly." When he began first grade, he just couldn't
do the math or writing. For a while I tried to home-school him, but
he would get so frustrated I finally put him back in school to save
my sanity and give my other five kids a chance for some
attention. It was a disaster. I got a call from school one day to
come pick him up because he was actually eating his math
assignment! A pediatrician recommended a common medication,
but my husband said, "Absolutely not. No way."
By fourth grade Tyler had been diagnosed with learning
disabilities. Last fall he brought home his first report, on killer
whales, and it wasn't even legible. But now I was eating algae
myself and seeing some benefits, so I thought, “What do I have
to lose by giving some to him?” So I started to give him one
capsule of algae a day. Five days later, he brought home a paper
from school and said, "Mom, look!" I couldn't believe it: The
writing was beautiful, and he'd done this little alphabet at the
bottom. I asked, "Did your teacher write the alphabet?" He said,
"No, I did ... and guess what, Mom. My teacher asked me what
medication you put me on, and I told him, 'I'm not on medication.
I'm taking blue-green algae'"
After he'd been eating algae about two weeks, one day I was
taking a nap. When I got up and walked into the kitchen, he was
sitting at the table writing something -a whole page. I asked,
"What are you doing?" Before, he would never write or do
anything like that voluntarily: it was so difficult for him. He said,
"Well, I was so excited about what happened at 4-H yesterday, I
thought I'd write Grandma a letter." I looked at what he'd
written, and it was just beautiful. Then he brought home some
work in December that was gorgeous, along with a note from his
teacher that said, "This is the best work I've seen you do." At
conference time the teacher said, "I cannot believe the change in
his work from the beginning of the school year to now. The
contrast is just incredible-I've never seen a kid turn around so
quickly."
Tyler's self-esteem has increased. He's never really been a sports
kid, but now he's coming home saying things like, "Mom, I climbed
the rope at school today. I know it's that algae." I expect it
wouldn't work this quickly in every child, but my mission is to
make sure parents know there's something they can try that may
give their children relief. I know the algae helps everyone in some
way. Even if you don't know it, the cells of your body know it.

Down Syndrome Baby with
Ventrical Septal Defect
In September 2007, Lisa Trieu called me to let me know that she
is the proud mommy of a baby girl but that her baby was a Down
Syndrome baby. She asked me if there was anything that can be
done to help her baby overcome this genetic health challenge.
Since she was breast feeding the baby, I set up a supplement
program for her of probiotics, enzymes, alpha, omega, Q10 and
algae with sprouts. I stressed the fact that she had to take large
quantities of these supplements so her baby could get the
benefits through her breast milk. The emphasis was on large
amounts of the Q10 and the sprouts (6 Q10 and 6 sprouts a
day). I also recommended that she put a pinch of our acidophilus
in the baby's mouth every day and slowly increase to once
capsule a day.
In November I received this email from her which is about
additional health challenges for her baby.
11/3/07
So we just got back from the cardiologist and he diagnosed her
with Ventrical Septal Defect. The hole is too big to close on its
own and she will need surgery by the time she is 1yr old. The
doctor also wants her to start a vaccination called Synagis that
prevents RSV - some type of lung infection that could cause
phnemonia. (She didn't do any vaccinations based on her
research on the Internet leading her to learn about the harmful
side effects of that particular vaccination).
Here comes the good news..... 12/13/07
My daughter has changed so much since I started taking this new
mix of supplements! Her doctors and therapists are even amazed
at how well she's developing (at the right level for her age).
She's 3 months old now and it's so wonderful to see her be more
interactive. She looks like a completely different baby. Her
complexion is clear and rosy. Thank you so much for your help.
Starting November 15th, I recommended to put some blue-green
algae powder (1/2 capsule) and to squeeze the contents of one
Q10 into the baby's mouth daily
More good news.... 12/15/07
In addition to the progress my daughter has made...she saw her
cardiologist this morning and he discovered a small piece of
tissue that has started to form to cover the hole. The hole is still
pretty big and he told us not to get our hopes up but we'll keep
monitoring it to see what it ends up doing. I’m looking forward to
having her continually progress with her Downs Syndrome and
her heart.

“Blue green algae has made me feel good and made my mind
clear. It helped me lose weight. My tics are gone now. I think
other kids with problems should have blue green algae.”

The whole family is doing great!
My daughter Meadow is now 27 months old and extremely
intelligent as well as very happy/healthy. A true Algae Baby from
conception. She gets very excited when I bring out the canister of
blue green algae. We like to give it to her in her organic yogurt or
dip strawberries in the algae. If left up to her she would just as
soon put her fingers in it and then suck on her fingers for awhile.
Makes for some very funny green faces!
She also loves having us give her the contents of an acidophilus
capsule on her tongue. This winter Meadow has not had any
colds or flu. She blows away most people with her amazing use
of language and communication skills.
Her big brother, my step-son Zeke who is now 10 has been
having algae since he was 3 and only really likes it in juice or our
family favorite fruit smoothies. He is testing for his black belt in
Tae Kwon Do this February in Chicago. Zeke is in the 4th grade
and excels at math, a very creative artist and also plays soccer.
My wife Kim and I are 36 and 43 respectively and as you know I
have been a dedicated blue-green algae consumer for many
years. For me the one thing I notice most is my muscle tone and
ability to handle stressful situations quite calmly for the most
part. Kim has noticed that her workouts continue to improve and
if she misses a few days it is not as difficult for her to catch up
quickly where she left off.
We will not go one day without taking these whole food
nutritionals.

I have been eating blue green algae for over three years now,
and I have to say it's one of the best things I ever decided to do!
While I was pregnant, I had NO MORNING SICKNESS and NO
COMPLICATIONS!! My baby came out phenomenally healthy and
is growing so rapidly (five months old and is the size of a one-
year-old)! Everyone who sees him comments on how alert and
happy he is. (Thank God and thanks to the company for existing.)
He still has not been sick (even while teething). EVERYONE NEEDS
THIS STUFF!! Especially growing children!

“I take blue green algae and I don’t eat foods with chemicals or
much sugar. My reading is better now and my teacher says I am
much calmer. I don’t steal candy anymore.”

A Mother´s Day Letter from a
Grateful Grandmother
When I happened in on an August Celebration fourteen years
ago, and subsequently accepted an invitation to write a book
about the magnificent blue green algae, (my book was also
entitled August Celebration) I had no idea that literary decision
would affect my family in a very personal way unto the third
generation.
Soon after I began my work, my daughter Cindy in Kauai became
pregnant. By that time we were all enthusiastic advocates of the
products. Cindy kept her strength up with the algae products
throughout the pregnancy -- through the battering her island
took during Hurricane Iniki, and the subsequent evacuation to
Maui -- where Kanoa was born, just short of 13 years ago.
I’m proud to say that Kanoa, his brother Ian, 9, and their five
step-sisters and brother are all algae products children, and all
magnificently healthy and athletic. In fact Kanoa has just been
selected for the prestigious Olympic Development Program. (U.S
Youth Soccer). Kanoa will represent his state at the regional
conference in Portland, Oregon.
I’m writing to you today to say that I believe that the algae
products have had an influence in fostering my grandson’s skill
and grace at most any sport. He’s also remarkably sunny, well-
rounded in his interests, and modest about his abilities. The
algae products have surely played a part in his development, and
we all look forward to great successes for him in the years to
come.
A happy Mothers Day to all algae moms and grandmothers (as
well as their progeny.)

My four-year-old son has grown up with the algae; he had it
indirectly from his mom, and I mixed it into formula and juice and
cereal whenever I could. Blue green algae has been his major
source of vegetables ever since he began choosing his own food,
with the occasional broccoli bit or other algae product mixed in
whenever he would take it.
Recently, he saw me mixing up a Green Drink/rice protein drink for
myself, and asked for some. "Mmmm. Yummy!" So he helped me
shake up a small glass for himself. Then we did it again the next
morning!
I'm so excited that my picky eater has green-food choices that
he'll happily swallow, even if standard vegetables still incite minor
riots.
